В школе vs. в школу

Should we use the prepositional or the accusative case after the preposition "в"? It depends on its meaning.  

The preposition “в” can mean «in, at» but also “to”.

If it means “in, at”, we use the prepositional case:

Я живу в Москве.

Петр работает в школе.

If it means « to », we use the accusative case:

Я часто хожу в бассейн.

Марина ходит в школу.
