Easy Russian?

Yes, I know, Russian is generally considered as one of the most difficult languages to learn, along with Arabic, Chinese and Hebrew. People who choose to study it provoke all sorts of reactions, ranging from admiration (what a challenge!) to puzzlement (what on earth do they need it for?). Despite all this, I claim loud and clear that learning Russian can be easy, enjoyable and fun. I’m not a miracle-worker: I don’t use hypnosis, and I can’t promise you to teach you the Russian language in ten days’ time. After having learnt two foreign languages (I’m on my third now), I do realise that learning a language requires a minimum of effort. However, my philosophy is to simplify things, not to complicate them, and I can prove to you that learning a foreign language, even one that has a reputation of being difficult, is much easier than you might think.
